acoustic simulation

[Archived phorum post from squ1.com v2 by C. YU]

Should I asking when doing acoustic simulation, (1) how to define the reflection time and do I need set receiver? (2) during the acoustic response simulation, in right hand side of the graphical result shows the number of Points: 54381 (54 Reflections), what is it for? how could I control it?

Thanks

Sorry, but I am not familiar enough with the acoustical analysis to help you on that one.
Under the Graph Data of the Acoustical Response panel, you can enter a time, as well as the number of reflections (Max Bounce). These might be what you are after, however, i could not control them as they would change back to some other numbers. I imagine the number of points are the number of particles created?
Also, I think you do need to tag a surface as a receiver ( set in the Rays & Particles panel).

Sorry I could not be of much help.
