Description
In this, the peak cooling and heating load is given for that month and the the whrs of loading for the the month with a breakdown of whrs/m2 but nothing for the peak w/m2 which would be really useful and save importing into excell everytime. Should be easy to put in too.

Peak heating and cooling values
Hi Paul,
This sounds like useful information to have quick access to. It would be easier to have a specific calculation for this as storing this additional information for each zone in the model would require changes to the file format. Whilst this is something I can do in the next upgrade, I'm keen to maintain full compatability with this upcoming release.
ECOTECT tries to store calculation results within the model itself - this is for QA reasons so that you always know exactly what model, materials and settings were used to generate a specific set of results and that, when you email the model to someone, everything is there in the one single file.
The downside to this approach is that you can't store everything. At the moment for each zone I store things like RT values at each frequency, monthly heating and cooling loads, peak annual heating and cooling loads, average daily lighting gains, etc.
I will try to accomodate this in the next upgrade as it sounds like useful information for the new multi-parameter analysis and comparison tool I'll be adding.
Kind regards,
Andrew
