You're probably after a more definitive answer, but the release of v5.6 should be very soon!

I understand that work has recently been completed on the latest release candidate version of Ecotect 5.6, which will be followed by the usual testing and tweaking that comes with any new software version.

Hopefully, your patience will last just a little bit longer! If I hear anything further, such as confirmed release date, I'll certainly let you know.
