Hi,
I have just purchased Solar Tool for use on a 'Green Star' project in Australia...
I need to confirm the observer position used for the sunpath diagrams, as the Green Star criteria state:
"A stereographic diagram at the working plane, 1.5m in from centre of that glazing system, demonstrating that the point is shaded for >80% of standard working hours."
Obviously if the observer positioned (horizontally) at the window-line then this will show less shading than for 1.5m in.
Similarly if the observer is placed at the window centreline or sill then this will give different results to an observer at 750mm above the floor.
Any advice would be appreciated.
