We offer educational versions of our products at significantly reduced prices for students, schools and non-profit organisations to purchase.

To qualify for these special discounts we will request certain information from you (detailed below) such that your eligibility for the discount can be verified. If these details are not received or satisfactory, then we will offer you the option to upgrade to the next level of licence that you are eligible for, or to cancel your order (and receive a full refund if payment has already been made).

Applying for an academic discount

All documents for verifying your eligibility for discounts should be sent to us using our handy please offer me an academic discount form. This should be done at any time after you have placed your order for educational or student discounted products.

Student Licences

To qualify for a student licence, we will require a copy of some official documentation that you have received from your school. This needs to include:

• your full name (required)
• course you are enrolled in (required)
• your student number
• full name of a member of staff at your school who can verify your student status (required if no student number provided)
• a date of issue and valid until information (required)

In most cases a copy of your student card will not be sufficient, and we recommend that you also include a copy of your (current years) enrolment receipt or similar document.

Educational Licences

These discounts are offered to schools and faculties of government-certified educational institutions.

To qualify for educational discounts, we will require a copy of some official documentation from your school that details the purchase. Typically a copy of the school's purchase order for the product is sufficient for this.

For situations where staff purchase on behalf of a school, it may be enough to demonstrate their employment via;

• a current staff card
• university e-mail address (only if used in the order process)
• contact details at the university (business card, staff page on website etc.)

Course Discounts

Course Discounts are a special type of academic discount offered by Square One, that provides an extra 20% discount on student licences and free year-long educational licences for staff teaching the course. They operate differently to a standard student or educational discount and need to be organised with Square One in advance of any purchases.

Non-profit and/or Government Organisations

For non-profits/govt dept. we can offer our educational licence discounts. To qualify for this, we will require a copy of the non-profit or other relevant registration details for your organisation.
