Free upgrades for all existing customers !

For all our existing customers, you should have already received an email on the 13th of September with full instructions on how to update your Square One licences.

If you haven't received this email and you think that we may have old email/contact details for you, then please fill in the Change of Existing Customer Details form so that we can check your account and re-send your upgrade email.

Important Note:

It is very important that you make sure you don't have filters on your email software that may prevent you receiving emails from squ1.com -- we don't want you to miss our emails or your free upgrade...

Chris in your office should have recently received a copy of the upgrade email with full instructions on the new setup.

If he can't find this or you need further help just let us know -- you can call using the contact details listed here the only issue being that hours for phone contact are UK time which might be a bit tricky from Sydney Sad

Dear Caroline: I need your help with the upgrade for Ecotect and the problem is how I can make the upgrade if your company change the network licence system please I would like a little support maybe the solution are a new lic file I will send you all the information that you request I write four mails to the support contact but I dont have any response yet so please if your company offers the upgrade also give the solution to impletment it.

Raul,

If you were eligible for an upgrade, you should have received an email from squ1 with:

1. Links to Ecotect files to download
2. A Proof of Purchase CODE
3. A Password
4. A link to dowload your Network Licence file

If you did receive this email, the next step is to follow the Network Licence Setup tutorial.

If you have not received that email, or if your contact info has changed since the time you had purchased the licence, you'll have to fill up this form, or make sure that your email software is not blocking the emails from squ1!

I have all that you mention, but the problem is when I try to download the licence file to the console licenece, the number of liceces that appear, is only one and we have 15, and by the other hand your company change the network licence system, please I only request a solution, and I will send you all that you need.

It sounds like you have everything you need to get it going.
How many licences show up in the when you run the Licence Manager (under LICENCE STATUS)?
Can you check on your account (by logging onto your account on this website) that the number of licences match what you see on the Licence Manager, and that you have more than one available.

Have you successfully installed the Licence Manager thus far (step 1 of 3)?

Unfortunately, I do not work directly with squ1 research - this is a support forum only - so my help is limited as far as checking your licence status on file.

This is the mail number 7 that I sent, and still I don´t have a response to my question, which is with who I can talk for resolve a network licence problem with the Ecotect 5.5 upgrade, we first purchased a licence and soon we purchased other 15 Ecotect 5.2 educational, well you sent us an email with the 5.5 advice of upgrade, instruction of installation and links to download all the files needed, but when I tray to activate the licences, the licence manager only show up one licence when are 16, at the moment we still are working with Ecotect 5.2, which have an other licence system, so please I have lost too much time in this, I need help for resolve this problem soon.

Rodrigo,

I am sorry you are hitting a wall with the Network licencing. There is unfortunately only so much I can do from this forum.

Can you check for me how many licences are granted to your account, by signing in and going to your squ1 account on this site.
Under your account (or your institution's), you should see any licence that has been bought. If you click on this link, it will take you to the details of the purchase, and at the bottom, the status of your licences, such as how many were purchased, and how many are available.

I want to make sure that ALL of your purchased licences were credited under the same account.

Another question: you say that you are still using Ecotect 5.2; are you still able to use Ecotect 5.2 via the old network licence? Did you remove the old network licence from your server before installing the network manager? If not, please try to remove the old licence and start from scratch with the new licencing.

I am trying to troubleshoot your issue here. We'll hopefully get it going soon.

Hi,

well I try in a clean installation of the licence manager and only we have one licence available, when must be 16, I appreciate if you can sent me a name, and the number for speak via phone with a person to explain the situation or the other option may be an email and a name, to sent the information we have the pdf invoice file, where are the purchase info then they will can see which is the problem and I think that the best solution would be a lic file that I can load in the server .

Software not working - reload old version

I have upgraded my computor after loosing a hard disk. With this action I also loaded the new Ecotect upgrade.
So far I have been unsuccessful in registering the software with lots of help from Caroline.
I now wish to reload the old software seeing the new versin does not want to work The question is, will the old version work under XP and how do I re-license this software?

Glenn,

Yes, the old version 5.2 works with XP.
You will need your old registration number, although if you have changed to a new hard drive, you'll probably need a new one from SQU1...
What's happening with the new version?
